Notice to all boaters in regard to your annual vessel safety check. Earning the Vessel Safety Check decal for display on your boat is a very important safety notice for you, your family and your boating guests. The USCG personnel and Marine Sheriff Deputies also like to see the decal on your boat. The members of the Muskegon Sail and Power Squadron are one of the few organizations that are authorized to examine boats and to award these decals.
Muskegon Sail and Power Squadron members have been providing boaters this free exam for years. Now we offer you an opportunity to provide this valuable service to your boating friends, slip neighbors and others in 2016 and beyond.
Sadly, the 2015 boating season is becoming a memory. During this winter, our members would welcome you and assist you to acquire the necessary training to become a Certified Examiner. Your fellow boaters need your conducting the safety exam to earn the Vessel Safety Check decal.
